January events
January 3 - Aubrey Driggers (6 - 9pm) - We are excited to kick off 2026 with Aubrey in the Bald Top Tapbarn. Aubrey plays all of your favorites hits from the 90’s, 00’s, and 10’s with his own flair and style. This is always one of our favorite nights!
January 10 - Rick Landers & Heartland (6 - 9pm) - Rick and the boys are back. Playing mostly originals, Rick’s songwriting and musicianship is wonderful to experience. With his own blend of country and americana, Rick really really brings something unique to the stage.
January 17 - Ryan Jewel (6 - 9pm) - It’s been a long time since we were lucky enough to have Ryan Jewel in the Tapbarn! Ryan’s voice harkens back to the classic days of country music. It’s hard to grasp unless you see it yourself so don’t miss out on this show where you’re sure to here a hand-selected set of country hits.
January 24 - Bald Top’s 9th BDay with Keith Bryant (6 - 9pm) - There’s not a lot that really needs to be said here. One of Madison’s pillars of the local country music scene on the Bald Top stage. Make sure to get here early to ensure you get a seat for this one!
January 31 - Eric Mesa (6 - 9pm) - If you’re into country and rock ballads, you don’t want to miss this night with Eric Mesa. Join us at the Tapbarn as we cozy up with an intimate performance that will warm up your cold nights!
February events
February 7 - Valerie Smith & Liberty Pike (6 - 9pm) - Is bluegrass your thing? Valerie and Liberty Pike are a must-see for any bluegrass fan. Their powerful, yet playful vocal stylings, coupled with expert musicianship and vibrant stage presence make this one of the most exciting shows we have at BT!
February 14 - Shane Click (6 - 9pm) - Looking for a night out with your valentine? Look no further! Shane Click will take on a genre-bending adventure through the hits from the 60’s all the way up to today. From folk, to rock, to country; Shane plays it all!!
February 21 - Ronnie Johnson (6 - 9pm) - Bald Top is excited to have Ronnie Johnson back in the tap barn. If country and americana are up your alley, you’ll definitely want to be here for this. Ronnie is a talented, powerful musician who is sure it on many of those tunes you love!
February 28 - Waterfalls (6 - 9pm) - Local favorites Waterfalls are coming back. These guys are a really authentic glimpse into the musical traditions of Appalachian VA. From bluegrass to americana, the harmonies and melodies these guys brings to the stage will offer you a true mountain experience.
March events
March 7 - Tommy Wood (6 - 9pm) - Tommy Wood hails from Ruckersville, VA where he’s known for his upbeat country shows for all ages! Playing country hits from various eras, Tommy hits all the greats. We are excited to have him and come out and tap your feet!
March 14 - Rixeyville Revival (6 - 9pm) - The Revival returns to BT! Lifelong friends, this duo has a unique musical bond that you really don’t want to miss. Their deep connection allows them to explore their favorite tunes in their own voice. Covering many genres and decades, this is a great showcase of two local musicians we’re proud to have in our own backyard!
March 21 - Matthew O’Donnell (6 - 9pm) - Old time shanties, bar tunes, and popular music set to an Irish theme are what await you! Part multi-instrumentalist, part story-teller, part comedian, Matthew brings something truly special every single time he takes the stage. He’ll have you laughing and dancing all night long while bringing upbeat Irish-styled music to the Tapbarn! Always a blast!!!
March 28 - The Invasion Band (6 - 9pm) - The Beatles, The Stones, The Kinks and the Faces are all on the menu tonight at Bald Top! The Invasion Band will take you back to the early-mid sixties with all of the songs pouring onto the American airwaves from the UK. Let the Invasion begin!

April 4 - Easter Egg Hunts and Celebration with Valerie Smith & Liberty Pike (6 - 9pm) - Valerie Smith and Liberty Pike are here to help you enjoy the holiday weekend and gorgeous weather! Incredibly upbeat, quirky, and joyous; Liberty Pike are bluegrass masters and they are the perfect band for a VA April day in the mountains. True mountain bluegrass sound from true mountain bluegrass folk!
